It's a lot easier then most of the videos make it out to be. You do not need the "special tools" from Triumph, only an Amazon seal driver. I made my own spring compressor. I just used a 1" pipe clamp and drilled 2 holes in it. A couple of small bolts will grab the dampener tube. I used a ratchet strap.

Nicely done. Over years of wrenching I have found that "special tools" are more for the service department. Most of these alleged specialty items can be creatively made at home.
