Pretech makes a 6-pot caliper for the Rocket. You'll want to check to ensure ABS compatibility.

But unless you're taking your Rocket to the track and doing repeated high-decel braking and having your brake fluid boil, you should ask yourself exactly what you're looking for. The stock brakes are good enough to modulate and lock up the wheel / engage ABS, so what would be the benefit of larger brakes in even the most spirited street riding? Larger calipers and/or discs just add cost, complexity, and increase unsprung weight. In stock form, the limiting factor in deceleration is the wheel friction with the road, and the weight.

Use the Lotus philosophy: "Simplify, then add lightness." You can start by replacing the stock exhaust system to drop 50 lbs.

Agreed. I feel my R3R's brakes are very good for my aggressive riding style. Unless I am going to bring it to Lime Rock or Loudon the Brembos work perfectly.

No problem locking the rear and the two disks up front seem to be more than adequate to bring the beast to a stop even with my current stock pads. EBC HH double sintered when it's time for new on the front. Already have them on the rear. I don't have ABS.

That could be other factors like position and weight distrubution (it could also be that I'm 100 lbs lighter now than I was before), but I found a significant different. I ride agressivley in the twisties and the breaks are more than I need, in fact I have to be careful when I have friends behind me and I forget that they can't break nearly as fast.

For the record, I have PreTech installed on my 2014 R3T, and it works just fine with ABS -- thank you @Trirocket3

First off, congrats on the huge weight loss! Stock, the '12 R3T is 869 lbs vs the '13 R3R at 807 lbs., which is a 7.1% weight reduction. Adding in a 100 lb personal weight reduction should net huge improvements in acceleration, handling, and braking.

That makes sense ... and thanks .... unfortunately have put some back on but working on that again ... the battle continues

The EBC Double HH Sintered pads made all the difference in the world for me. Without ABS I can lock the front or back wheel almost anytime. I thank God he gave me good brake application technique.
