Really, the 240 in the back too is just ostentation, too. It's there to look good. It would probably be a better bike with a 200, or 180. But it wouldn't look as cool.

I just installed the Cobra 140/75VR17 on my Rocket. Only been about 100 miles so far but it does help make the front end a little lighter and quicker. I am not sure about high speed stability yet only been to about 130 at the airport.

I agree as far as going deep into corners and low speed maneuvering. I have a 180 on my springer and a 190 on my kids bikes and they are easier to lean into corners. The 240 kind of wants to keep you straight up. Once you figure it out, it is easier to understand what needs to be done to scrape the pegs.

THE 140 COMMANDER TWO works great on the front it does improve the handling along with the Bridgestone 240/55 EXCEDRA MAX rear a nice combination

I purchased an Avon for the rear a few weeks ago, I will try the Bridgestone next year. I am guessing I will get about 8500-9000 miles out of the Avon based on what I have read. I am doing at least 8500 per riding season. I may hit 10K this year due to a trip to West Virginia in June. But I do appreciate your information and insight on all things Rocket related. I understand that you have a lot of experience with performance and other mods for the beast.
