You guys probably are aware of this brute on Ebay but I'll mention it in passing anyway: an '05 R3 running a Rotrax Supercharger (231 hp), with undercut gearing, key-less ignition and a fantastic custom multi-toned paint job. I think I've seen this scoot on the .com site. The bike's in Rosemount, MN currently. No bids to date, five days+ and counting remaining. The down side is LOTS of mileage: 53,700! Probably why no takers as of yet. Killer R3 nonetheless:cool: Check it out!!!

That not big miles for R3 .... heap much more come. For two wheel gods bless R3 with long legs and stamina like bear. Run like rabbit, live long like turtle. :p uhg!
Not like hog .... hog cost heap big wampum, dirty, easily slaughtered, lazy and like ride in back of white mans truck.

That's Mistress, Riderrocketman is sort of a darkside guru. He's tried several. Check out his you tube videos. She's a sweet bike. I wonder what he has planned next.

I'd take the whistle and the rims, but he can keep the dungens and dragons paint job.

This would also be concerning:
Note, the gear shifter requires manual return to center due to inadequate stock return spring after transmission upgrades. She just needs a quick foot tap after a shift to have it ready for the next shift. Easy to get used to.

Otherwise kudos for making it his.

He doesn't have any takers because of the price. No one in their right mind would pay that for an 05 with that many miles. Farkles and all are nice, but they have very little value in terms of re-sale. Superchargers and the like actually detract from the value as most folks consider that sort of thing a red flag to how the bike has been ridden.

I think the paint job is the deal killer... That and the head light set up is just plain weird.. Looks sell on Ebay.. and this one is a little too personalized.. I wouldn't mind the supercharger though.. :) and the miles aren't scary..

You've got it right

Despite the proven durability of our R3's, blowers and nearly 58k miles will deter most from this offering:eek:. Most will (rightly) assume the bike may have been ridden uber-hard and fast as well. Nevertheless, quite an accomplishment this sled is. I'll be curious to see how these bids land...my guess is he will take something of a loss on this project in the end:rolleyes:.

....yeah, I'd like to get my mitts on that supercharger as well! I don't plan on selling my R3:cool:

I wouldn't be all that concerned with how it was ridden, it's the punishing dyno runs that make me nervous. I can't really imagine anyone taking something like that to the limit on the street .... but those dyno pulls are like playing hot potato with a grenade.

And then there's REALLY BIG!

...Checked out some Boss Hoss super-sleds yesterday and was again reminded that although the R3 is a big bike among standards it's a midget compared to these monsters! Over 600 horsepower and exceeding 100k in price:eek::eek::eek: in many instances!!!! What titans! Even the base models sport 350c.i./345hp mills! Incredible...they look like locomotives on rubber:rolleyes: Some of the used ones...the smaller iterations...become affordable at under 20k in rare instances. On the other end of this hectic continuum I checked out one blown/NOSed monster cranking out 1,200 horses:eek:: truly insane:D

Kinda Puts things in perspective: even an R3 with a blower is really only a middle weight compared to these leviathons:rolleyes:
