Anybody got a Xena XX-14? Reading Amazon reviews and appears that they don't fit their Thunderbird 900, wondering if it would work on an R3.

I use the Glock 34 or 26 protection for my R3R.
So far works great - and NO keys or fob necessary.

The ABUS slightly lighter but still great model 8077 would be my second choice, now that the 8000 I have is "out of print".

Well, your weapon-based alarm systems only work if you're standing next to the bike, and they come with the drawback that if you actually kill the thief you're going to be in gaol for a while for murder. Other than that, carry on.

Won't happen in Australia the population (honest Citizens that is) have been disarmed by our Government ,we are not even allowed to have a Daisy BB gun without a license, the bad guys have all the guns and regularly have drive by shootings, so if someone tries to steal your possessions you are not allowed to threaten or hurt them or you will be charged, also there is a fair chance they may be armed the law hasn't stopped them in fact it has en powered them with a degree of confidence.

Yeah, just saying that an effective alarm system has to be awake 24/7 and watching the bike. Electronics do that better than a Glock, plus the fact that you can't shoot a thief in America either without serious legal repercussions (unless you're a cop, in which case you can shoot anybody for kicks and get away with it, but that too is a separate discussion.)

I gave you a "like" on this but it should have been a "I'm sorry you have been left defenseless by your government."
You have succinctly stated EXACTLY why so many of us Yanks are screaming about our own government attempting to violate our Constitution and force this oppressive control tactic down our throats.
