Air/fuel gauge


Can you get a handlebar clamp for the Koso cup, or need to fabricate something like you did?
 
Thanks everyone for your input. My end goal is a turbo system but I would like to build and learn as I go too. I had a PCV on my 2011 Road glide and I played with the fuel and timing with good results. I would like to have tools that could give me reliable information so I could change the numbers and get it to where I want it. Having two tunes would be nice too. One for performance and one for mileage. Since I'll be going the forced induction route eventually going with Dynojet all the way may be the way to go.
 
I’m going to start a Vlog. No, not a moto-vlog, one while I drive home to get some thoughts out. It will, initially be focused on tuning and a variety of products out there, pros cons and limitations.

I've been thinking about doing one on my R3T like the MTX-L you posted here. My concern was a cup/mount for it, but I'll check out some of the ones listed in this post. I actually had Paul Bryant weld a O2 bung in the crossover I ordered from him to give myself some options other than the location on the rocket exhaust. I don't know if anyone has installed an MTX-L, but I would be interested to know how they like it. I guess since I was the first one to do the Koso Tach install, I guess I might have to lead the way on this one as well.

This I know. My point was that the POD300 attached to the PCV - whilst it displays AFR - is not that readable as it constantly changes as does the PCV. I have mine on simply so I can periodically check that the PCV/AT is doing all it should. These days I hardly log - The PCV does its job really well.

I still have a teensy weensy area to attend to - very low TPS in 1st. Sometimes jerks a bit. I need to have a logging session just riding around our estate - Speed Bumps etc means even 2nd can be ambitious.
 
^what barbagris said. I have the pc5, AT, and display, throttle twist spikes it all over the place till it smooths out and produces readable numbers. It shows a lot of other things, too, I think 17 different read-outs to choose from, I got it mostly to add a tach to my R3T
 
Inside the POD there are two options for the O2 sensor signal, one polls directly from the AT-200, the other polls from the PC-V.

The rates are different and the direct AT-200 polling option is much much faster, so fast the decimal place can’t usually be read because it’s a constant blur.

For datalogging it’s great, for looking at, not so much lol.
 
MY original display module crapped out after getting rained on one too many times, I have the new pod display but the plug on the cord is different, so I have to lift the tank to feed the new cord through, I'm hoping the other end at the AT module is the same.

Just a note to those wanting to add gauges... the AEM wideband and other AutoMeter gauges I'm using are horrible in the rain. They'll even fog up on the underside of the glass in colder or more humid weather. They're automotive gauges and not really meant for a motorcycle. The only reason they work for me is I only ride in nice sunny weather.
