A new (to him) Rocket owner

this is how much I like it

Very pretty, he done good! How a 2006 rocket can only have 21 thousand miles on it I will never know. Do people just stash them in their garages and forget about them? That poor thing has just got to be so horny for miles. I hope he rides the f*** out of it cuz it sure needs it.

Funny, there was an 05 or 06 here locally on Craigslist last summer with 2000 or 3000 miles on it, I was dumbfounded.

It's because of people like this that I will never buy a new motorcycle. No need to. There always seems to be plenty of barely used bikes up for sale whenever I'm looking to buy one. I don't understand how someone can own a bike and not put any miles on it, but I'm certainly grateful for these people...they save me A LOT of money!

From my experience it seems like the average motorcycle owner does between 600 and 1000 miles a year and even less in colder climates. It's a shame but leaves lots of good deals around. Unless it's a Harley, every rat pos that's all beat to shat and they still think they can get 10k!

I bought my '06 Classic with Corbin bags and seat, 1750 miles for $6500 two and a half years ago. Previous owner died from a heart attack and the original owner was flat scared of the bike.
