2011 Touring Coil Wire Colors

all three coils have one wire color in common labeled NK in the manuals I have which is Brown with a Pink stripe. the others have green as a base color with either a Pink stripe GK, Purple stripe GP or a Blue stripe GU. if your coils are facing the same direction as mine then the brown wires are on the left coil post as you sit on the bike. Take note of the way you have them but I bet you match mine and you will be fine.

Thanks, dirtbagbiker. Is 2nd photo the coil closest to the seat? Is 2nd photo the middle coil? Which year and model bike?

Dobro, I have an 08 R3T and the two coils that are together, the pink wire is on the inside on both... Can't see the coil up front.

Everything in this thread plus a conversation with a service rep at Triumph USA and with a Triumph mechanic unanimously indicates that the red (a/k/a pink or brown) wire is on the inside (i.e. nearest the center of the bike) on all 3 coils.
