I use to have a boat, so no complaints here about mileage!

I know what you mean, I had a 1978 Ford E250 Quadravan with a mild cam, headers and 4 barrel. I don't think I ever busted the 10mpg barrier, usually 8-9 mpg. :(

My R3T with normal daily driving of 20 miles Interstate and 20 miles of city I get about 28-30 mpg.

That's the last time I ever trust a scan gauge 2, the first fill up was 26 mpg, the second was 33! I'm an idiot, thanks for all the responses. Can I trust the water temp now?! That's mainly what I bought the gauge for !

O.K. When out riding I don't possy foot around.
I set the trip meter to Zero when I fill up.
The next time I fill up I check the mileage, this afternoon for example, out blasting around some of the afternoon, I did 202.6Kms, filled the tank to the same point as always, 16.3 Liters.
So 202.6Km's is 126.62 Miles.
16.3 Liters is 3.58 Imperial Gallons, or 4.03 US Gallons
That is close enough to 35 MPG (Imperial) 31.4 MPG (US)
When just cruising I will often achieve more than 45MPG (Imperial)

This is almost identical to mine.
