12 volt outlet stupid question

My stupid question of the day is about my 12 volt outlet. It's smaller than a standard cigarette lighter plug...I want to buy a charger for my iPhone that fits it. Nobody seems to have ever heard of a 12 volt outlet that littler than a cigarette lighter. Any idea where I can get such a thing? Or is there an adaptor to plug into it that makes it the same size as a standard cigarette lighter? Any help appreciated...
 
Na Not a stupid question...
Here is what I did. File the hole bigger to suit larger Cig socket.
I ran the wires directly to the battery via a 10 amp fuse.






 
My bad, I thought you already had the plug.

So, either a powerlet or make it bigger.

Hi Andrew. Try the Jaycar agent at Narooma Framing on the flat in Narooma. He usually has something that will fit. Also sells motorcycle accessories and parts.
 
I have an adapter for mine - although I've had it so long I can't remember where I got it from. Apparently it is the same socket that BMW use (IIRC) so the adaptor should be reasonably easy to find.

One day I am going to remove the ignition key switch and replace it with a power outlet as that would be a lot more useful.
