10K Darkside Update

Ok, here goes, fitted the Faulken 452 (225/55/16) 2 weeks ago. I have about 400 miles logged on it with no complaints. It took all of 5 minutes to get used to. I'm running 30.5 psi and all is good. I was expecting alot of moving around and gobs of counter steer but its just not there. I put off doing this a tire change ago and now I know I'll never go back. Its like its on rails in corners, I can hold any line anywhere in my lane like glue. Rode 2 up and the wifey said it rode the same as the Metz. I found a local shop to put it on, the guy took it on as a challenge. He was so excited about getting it on he did'nt even charge me, I tipped him $15. Just my 2 cents.

Once you go black (dark), you never go back, or, once you go dark, your wallet won't bark. Welcome to the.....DARK SIDE:cool:

I've realized a diminished and uneven wear on the front. I've gotten 13k on a front prior to going over to the darkside. I'm at 10k now on the front and it's time to change over to the Dunlop Elite. I'm attributing this to an increase in counter steering. Results: The front tire is showing a bit more wear on the left side of center.

I have noticed just the opposite, my first front gave up at 10K and the second (another metz)is at 13K and has at least 4K left in it. I don't have a problem with 13-15 k miles from a front. I will probably stick with the Metz on the front. But it will always be dark meat for the rear
