Hi all, after ECU mapping for my 08R3T.
1. mapping for current setup. Cat eliminated with straight pipe (just db killer no baffles)
2. Mapping for planned mods. Cat eliminated no baffles modified OEM pipes and triple k&n filters, air box eliminated.
Have emailed and messaged a few contacts...
To install the triple filters is it as simple as removing the air box, plenum etc and installing the filters direct onto the throttle body assembly. Can't find clear info online but have seen a "kit" mentioned a few times so question is, is another adaptor needed?
Also; K&N triple or Ramair...
Have read a few posts on risers here. Am I correct in understanding if I put a 2" up 1" back riser on my bars the cables should be ok aside from possibly rerouting clutch cable?.
New to me 08 R3T and lovin it. Wife's hating the spine jars from bumps... Have set preload down to 2 (second click clockwise) but not a vast change. Any recommendations for preload or alternatively aftermarket suspension options? Thanks from NZ
