So after reading this it sounds like my 2020 Rocket 3 was built in Thailand. If that's the case then what the hell, they built a great bike!

"The move, announced to Triumph employees yesterday (February 20), will see the last remaining UK produced models – the Speed Triple and Tiger 1200 – join the rest of the range at the Chonburi, Thailand, production facilities. The net result for Hinckley is a reduction of around 2000 units per year, leaving only the high-end Triumph Factory Custom models and selected other special builds based on UK soil. The firm currently build around 65,000 bikes per year, with only 10% of that figure rolling out of the Hinckley facility."

Triumph is a small player in a big field, every penny counts in fact it is probably just a matter of time before all production in England stops. The new bikes will be made by the finest ladyboys that Thailand has:D
Triumph probably made that choice after seeing the collection of boots displayed by @Dr.D

according to an article published yesterday over here :

...Only the Speed Triple 1050, Tiger 1200 and special series of the Daytona 765 (i.e. 8 to 10,000 units/year) are built in UK, all the other models are built in Thailand (about 53,000 units/year) including the latest Rocket III...

(they add that Norton is going bankruptcy)

Memory tells me that you can trace your bikes birth place thru the stamped vin numbers...i'm sure many many Triumphs have been assembled in Thailand now.All will be overseen by thorough minded and keen eyed people you can count on that!

Is it me or is someone else wondering why all the TFC built or assembled in Hinckley and crated, had to wait for Chonburi, Thailand, production facilities to catch the side stand problem. Is this just another should drink your beer properly chilled verse warm piss temps :D

Just got this from the guy I ordered my TFC from.

"We found out toward the end of the year that as all the Rocket 3's were made in Thailand, that this also included the TFC Rocket. They have a seperate section in the factory just for these bikes, so while its not made in the UK the assembly is the same as the other TFC's which were made in the UK. I learned this while we attempting to set up a UK factory tour during the build so another buyer could see the Rocket TFC being built."
