Wow, just installed my GI Pro

I bought the cams almost a year ago when the Aus $ tanked. I think they were around $700. I installed them, with a lot of help from Toystoretom. About the only thing I picked up is that the bike reaches red line about 1/2 second quicker now according to the dyno. HP is a wash.

I would sooner drink gasoline than try to take that engine apart.

San Diego Rocket Riders?

I'm in San Diego and just received my GiPro ATRE. I plan to drop it in today or tomorrow.

Anyone in the area want to assist? I could use the help if you're up on electrical knowledge, though the instructions seem fairly simple.

Ideas?

That must mean mine is coming soon. Were you on the first leg of the Group buy?

Glad to hear someone just put GIPRO ATRE on and liked the results. Have one on order and am looking forward to riding with it installed.

Yes, I was on the first leg of the orders. Once 5 (I think) of us ordered, the process went quickly and I received it in a few days.

I may try to install it this weekend. I'll let you know how it goes...

Ive got one (from the first group buy) and installed it a couple of days ago; absolutely painless installation, I'm not known for my mechanical prowess and had no problems.

Not sure if it has made any difference other than removing the speed limiter, prior to the gipro the bike would start to run out of puff from 160kmh but now just keeps pulling.

Wrt better acceleration it could be as some have stated if you have the TORS tune (which I have) it closes the secondaries further than the standard tune; might try going back to the standard tune to see if it makes any difference.

Did you verify that its on the right setting? T found out that interupting the juice by unpugging the battery sets it back to stock setting. Settings 2 and 3 worked the best for me, I use setting 4 when the wife is with me since it puts 1st gear back to stock. She gets mad when I take off fast and either turning it off or turning it to 4 keeps me out of trouble with her.
I still have that stupid TORs tune too but I yanked out the secondaries.

I have it on setting 3 I haven't tried 2 but will do so. The reason that I bought it was that some (Native One I think) said that the gipro opened the secondaries and there was no need to remove them.
