We keep searching for more power
How much do you make?
I would like to know how many out there top my pimped beast.

Last dyno run, this past summer, I had 142HP and 140 lbs/ft of torque.. Running Jardines and a PC-III.. Haven't had the urge to go for much more power because the bike is running too dang good!.. Might do the triple filter set up one of these days, I just saw a neat idea for it on a '32 Ford Hot Rod... :)

Old bike mad 167 rwhp and carnt remember the torque:confused:
Had cams, tuneboy, triple filters, jars and lock up clutch.
New bike I wont to try and get over 170rwhp;)

I have a 06 Classic that dyno's at 144 hp and 152 torque. I am running both PCIII and Tuneboy, Jardines, triple filters, removed secondaries. Before installing the PCIII, I was running a TB tune that Pig9R sent me. The bike dyno'd at 137 hp and 144 torque with just the TB. I was running the PCIII till I got the got the TB. I had a chance to put the bike on a PCIII factory dyno so I reinstalled the PCIII and put the bike back on the dyno. You can see the difference that it made in HP and TRQ but the thing that you can't see was the change in throttle response that is nothing short of awesome. I have to be careful to not hit it to hard in first for fear of the bike coming over on me, LOL
It really bothered me that my son on his 08 V-rod that has pipes, filter and tuner could out run me. Now bear in mind that he weighs 220 and I weigh 330 and I have a Corbin fairing and bags. But after I reinstalled the PCIII on top of the TB tune and had it tuned on the dyno, I walk away from him. Now he is talking about supercharging his V rod so he can take the old man again. We will see.

and how would you like to post the triple filter PCIII jardine map so other can bask in the knowledge they have the best map for that setup .like me for example ,2006 classic with jardine mounted but filter kit on a shelf , did not install the filter for fear of running lean and do not have the right ECU map for it so I wait.
you could change all that .. now I will go and have a beer

What was the prupose for the PC3 with Tuneboy. The TB will do everything better and you can adjust timing also along with rev limits, secondaries, etc. The TB gives you complete control over your ECU. Is it because the tuner doesn't know how to use the TB? All you can do with the PC3 is change your A/F map. Believe me, the PC3 isn't what is giving you more power.

When I read your question it reminded me that when my laptop crashed about 3 months ago, I lost all of my TB maps too. Dam it, I had got this map from Brian or Pig9R. Maybe you can get hold of him and ask if he could send it to you the way he did for me. I had tried several tunes that he sent me but this last one is one that someone had got after going to a dyno and adding more fuel to stop the back firing. The bike ran great with no BF but the fuel economy went down to around 24 to 26 mpg.

The reason I stacked the PCIII on top of the TB was because we don't have anybody around these parts that is familiar with TB. By stacking the PCIII on top of the TB, I was able to set my A/F ratio and lean the fuel out at 75 mph to help with fuel economy. By getting this done, it also helped the throttle response greatly.
They tell me that I can now go into the TB and copy the tune back into TB and then disconnect the PCIII and then down load the new tune and have the same thing with out the PCIII but I just haven't taken time to do it. Or something like that. I have also heard that by doing this you don't get the exact tune because the 2 programs don't talk to each other exactly the same. So I just leave it on. Its not hurting a thing.
Bottom line is with the TB tune I got from Brian, the bike was putting out 137 hp and 144 torq, and not very good fuel economy. After installing the PCIII and having it dialed in, the bike is now at 144 hp and 152 torq and I regularly get 33 to 35 mpg.

I started all of these upgrades with one thing in mind. That was to have a cruiser that had 150 hp and be able to run 150 mph. I haven't been able to reach that illusive 150 mph yet but they tell me if I remove the Corbin fairing it would do it with ease. I regularly run up to 135 to 140 mph but having the fairing is more important than 150 mph.
I used to ride a small block Boss Hoss that I could hit 150 MPH with ease and I did all the time. That was my adreniline rush. The Rocket is the only big bike, power cruiser that is capable of this kind of hp and torq numbers. Maybe when the economy turns back around I'll get another V8 bike but until then, I'm plenty happy with the Rocket

ok so what is the code number of that last marvellous tune!! so I can ask the right question to Pig

I will pm Brian and ask him if he could re post it here for you. I honestly do not remember the tune #. I guess what I need to do is install the TB program on this new laptop and connect it to my bike a find out what it is. If I can get this done here in the next few days, I can down load the tune and send it to you. But it would be a lot easier if I can get it from Brian. Crap I just remembered my bike is over at my sons getting a new front tire put on and thats 100 miles away. I will try to get it from Brian and let you know.
