I probably won't get anywhere this year. My 06 classic has been at the dealership since April 30th. I am planning a trip down to New Orleans for some food, fishing, and drinking next summer sometime. Like BigNorm I want to ride down to Key West for basically more of the same. If your worried or feel pity that I haven't had my rocket basically all season I did pick up a great spare bike. A 79 Yamaha xs1100 special. It might be about the only bike I can truly compare to the rocket.

Funny that I can say this but "Been There Done That" big thanks to @R3Tex Morris and his lovely bride Cindy they took me over to the Three Sissters before we went to RAAX and then they and @rainman Jay and @sweettennbabe Wendy plus @mully95 Marland took me over to Maggie Valley where we hooked up with @JoseyR3Wales and spent a full and I mean FULL day ridding some of the best roads I have ever ridden in my life including of course the Dragon

I'd like to do a Southern Utah loop and come down to Sedona, Arizona too.

Amazing Scenery There also the Southern brim of of the GrandCanyon plus the Painted Desert are not to be missed, if you get a chance you need to go and "Stand On The Corner" in Winslow Arizona

My dreams are bigger than the time I have at this point. I would love to ride across Canada to the East coast, head south to the Key's then weave my way west through the US getting as much of the scenery in I can. Not sure how long that would take but it would be quite the adventure.
