One final comment. I got everything finished and setup on my bike. I took it out for a ride again up to 85 mph with no issues. I have the deflectors set so they just rest on my mirror posts on both sides ( See picture ) with a little piece of split black vinyl tubing around the post for protection. The deflectors ran with no shake, no rattle, no roll and no nothing. They never budged a bit from where they are clamped on the windshield.
My report is they 85% to 90% effective is creating a nice pocket around your hands and even into your forearms. Enough air for hot days and just right for cold weather and rain. I suspect they will become permanently mounted if for no other reason than they can't be easily taken. Thanks for all the comments.
