So I have the triple K&Ns with the extra two filters and the TORS on my 08 Touring. When I bought it I was told that it had the correct Triumph map installed for the TORS and original air filter configuration. I have opted to keep my secondaries at this time.

With my current setup I am using a PCV+AT to compensate for the increased flow of the trip filters.

I know that the PCV modifies the fueling signal from the ECU to the injectors to meet the installed maps AFRs.

What I am wondering is, would I be better off with the current TORS map, or should I get the original map re-installed? Would there be any benefit or no?

Thanks!

I have a good Triple K&N, TOR's map but it is for the early model's just checking have you got a Classic touring or a Touring as in single headlight and skinny tyre model

I have the skinny tire type Touring. You sent me your PCV map converted from a Wayne Tripp tune over on the .com site. It is loaded and so far seems to be running fine.

I am just wondering if the differences that the base map has in controlling the secondaries and such is worth changing back to the original mapping in the ECU.

I may just get the cable and try it out. Shouldn't hurt anything, I think.

If you can't find a Base map you could use the map you havebecause the PCV will look after the fueling after 2% Throttle. But use TuneECU to copy the Ignition tables over from the Higher gear to the lower three and Open the Secondaries 100% all the way up and across the page but check with Tom Hamburg about the ignition map copying he would be more knowledgeable about that
