i need to order a set of tyres and i will be going to the Bridgestone Exedra max front and rear , is there any issues with the front tyre being a bit smaller in width ? will the ABS still be ok with the change ?

thanks

Should be no problema.
I went 140 with no issues - 130 was too much and screwed up the circumference ratio difference in the ECU and shut off the ABS.
Brakes worked fine, just had no ABS.
I now run what Mike 188 said he has.

I have never liked the Avons since i had one on the rear of a bike many years ago terrible in the wet , if you guys say it is good for all weather conditions and feels safe i will try it . It seems a lot have this set up bridgy and avon .

Avon on the front is great. Never had any 'moments' with it and I'm on my 7th or 8th. Avon on the rear was also quite good but a bit skittish in the wet. I run Bridgestone rear, Avon front and see no reason to change unless something new comes along.

Sorry only just saw this thread
While I liked the avon the front I have found what I feel is a better tyre for front the Dunlop Elite 3 in the standard 150/80/17 size, it gives better feed back and confidence to go deeper into corners and after over 2500 km is not showing any signs of wear
