Now that the bike is running I've been thinking about the TuneECU and PCV setup. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
1. TuneECU hex map - Reprograms the fuel/air ratios plus other bits and bobs, for a given configuration. In my case these should be optimised for Exhaust and filters.
Correct but it is tune done one another bike in possibly different conditions so it is a close to your needs safe tune
2. PCV reinterprets the TuneECU programmed instructions from the signals from the module and these instructions are sent to the injectors.
correct but it needs to be set up on a dyno to make it accurate unless you use a Auto Tune which will trim the TuneECU tune's fueling up or down to suit your bike
It seems that there is some doubling up going on. Should I be using 1 of these options instead of both? I received a tune from Hanso which I would like to use rather than have it superseded by a one-size-fits-all PCV tune.
