TuneECU .... free tuning software

which tune do you use if you have the secondary's out , triple K&N's and cat delete, the tune's don't appear to have a name/discripition just numbers , sorry but may be I'm missing something. I have the blue cable is this the right one.
I want have go at this but don't want to put the wrong tune in and find out the hard way and stuff my motor

My PCIII is custom dyno tuned, it's not a canned tune. The Program in the bike is Triumph aftermarket exhaust download (not the best choice from what I hear, but the dealer suckerd me). They only work together because of the custom dyno'd PCIII. The map for the PCIII is all over the place to even out the exhaust gasses, thats why I'd like to peek at whats going on inside the ECU. I don't want to change anything, it works great the way it is.

Wayne, can you import PCIII tunes into TuneEcu or do you need to do a Tuneboy tune with it imported then convert it to TuneEcu?
That would be a cool deal, I hope thats somehow possible. If it isn't, would it be a big deal to input it manually by altering the numbers in the trim graph?

I have not tried to import a PC3 map into TuneECU. There are several features of TuneEdit that are not available in TuneECU, this might be another one. But TuneECU is rapidly improving.

I have yet to determine all of the differences with v1.6.

Edit: V1.6 adds a few new features:

To adjust the F and L tables by a percentage:
You can select individual or block or cells and adjust by %
Toggle F4 returns to incremental value mode

With Map Edit screen, in v1.6, the TPS & RPM are now 'active' on the axes in the 'F' tables and the MAP & RPM are active on the 'L' tables showing the related cells highlighted when running.

Alain has been busy on these requests and making TuneECU a more viable tuning solution on the dyno.
There may be more changes, but these are what I have found thus far.

Other bikes?

This looks brilliant. Can it be made to work with the Bonneville/Speedmaster/America and the new Thunderbirds? It doesn't look like it presently supports ecu's from any 2-cylinder bikes. :D

My Keef is now connected. I'm looking more for tq than hp, have anyone tried a R3T tune on a standard R3? The Triumph guys in Sweden can't answere if the difference is the tune alone or? Any tune to recommend with open filters/AM exhaust/no cat/2007 std R3?

The twins are not currently supported, HOWEVER, it looks like it will connect, and we will have to wait for Alain to work on setting it up for the twins. But I would give him some time to do so.

No you cannot put a map from the R3T into the R3 ECU. The R3 and R3T will make the same output with the same modifications. The big difference in the R3T is the restrictive exhausts - giving more torque 1500-2500 rpm, but stops pulling above 4500 rpm when tuned.
