For those that have debated about purchasing TuneBoy, your day has come.

There is freeware available that is a close copy to TuneBoy, and operates on all Triumph triples.

TuneECU v1.5.3 : Link Removed

Download the software (unzip it into a specific file), the description, and the key - unzip the key into the software file.

Cable - Link Removed
Or you can find them even cheaper on ebay - shipped from China.

Base tunes: Link Removed
Download what you need.
Modified tunes are being compiled and will soon be available for the R3.

Enjoy!

I downloaded the program, looks good. Wonder what you have to do to get a key? Is it like Tuneboy? Does anyone know anybody who has installed and used?

*Singing in TuneBoy's direction*

*Clears throat and performs a quick warm-up exercise*

Turn out the lightsssss (TuneBoy), the party'sssss over...

You need a .net framework v2.0.50727 to run this. Anyone have a link for that?

Anyhow, the issue isn't the software. It's finding someone to tune the bike in TuneEdit.

Power-Tripp - Do you have a mobile dyno? If so, please let me know when you're going to be in Reno.

I can't look at it from here, but if this will remove the power reduction as TuneBoy does, then it's worth it on that alone.. I may have to look into this.. :)

Did you download the tunes from the link also?

I got the program to open just fine. Haven't tried loading it yet. I have a new laptop that doesn't have tuneboy on it I am going to try it out on. Will likely need to load the driver too.

The windows .net framework can be downloaded for free from microsoft.

Try renaming the file extensions and opening it.
