- Triumph TOR's installed
- Secondaries gone
- TUNecu Mapping
But after Dyno the result is more or less dissilusioning. Just close to 120 BHP. Some of my friends are close to 150 BHP. I am using the 20366 with secondaries opened to 100%
The power is good up to 3000rpm, but then it flatens. The Dynomen said it should be a bit richer above 3000 rpm.
I wonder which Map you ride? And if you have dynoed it?
My guess would be that your exhaust is the limiting factor, along with probably needing some more fuel up top. For the R3T the only option I'm aware of for the exhaust is Jardine. In my Sig line you can see my dyno results from triple filters, Jardines, and tune. I used Tuneboy, so I can't say what's available in a TuneECU tune.
Also, different dynos will yield very different results. Comparing your results to others is not always valid.
Did your friends do their dyno tests on the same dyno? There can be a huge range among dynos. I got 140 hp on my bike with TORs and a K&N under seat (with no snorkel) using this tune:
I think it's the same engine. Here is my dyno run from 2006. The top curves are for a the modified 20050 tune with secondaries open. The bottom 2 are for the stock tune for TORs. The only big differences is in the low end loss of power from closing the secondaries in the stock tune. Note how smooth the curves are. Your curve looks gnarly. Are you sure it's running on all 3 cylinders?
Yeah, your dyno chart looks a little strange. The line should be smooth, not sure why you have all the dips. Did they also give you a print out of the A/F ratio? That may be interesting.
The Touring model can not use maps from other models, the tables are different. If you try, you'll find they won't load.
the touring has the same engine but all other adjustments are different because of the different conception.
Regarding the Dyno. I think that the machine sliped on the drum. (Maybe to much torque). Nope I dont have the A/F printout. I think I should go to a other dyno to verify things.
