Hey all this is my first post here, although Ive had my 06 rock for awhile and do constantly lurk on here !!.
Anyway heres the guts, Ive finaly decided to go tuneboy and unleash some of that grunt the powers that be dont want us to have.
Im running the thunderbike 3 into 1 into 2 muffler setup (saves a ton of weight) stock under seat filter. Would like all the good ingredients to tune ie full power all gears, speedo corrected, and O2 sensor unchecked etc etc. Have looked on the tune download section, but cant find anything specific on a 2 muffler system only, anyone have a tune I could use?. Good bottom end grunt is a must. Also a big thanks to those of you who experiment and spend the time to find out more about these wicked machines- good on ya.-cheers diesel

Like Diesel, I just got my Tune Boy this week and will eventually go with Staintune pipes methinks. But in the meantime, I will use the stock pipes with cat bypass, original underseat filter, and would like open secondaries and corrected speedo. I've checked the Trading Tunes posts, but don't see a tune specifically for that, yet I know many run this set up.

Can anyone steer me to a a tune they would recommend for this set up?

This Tune Boy program is so incredible - hats off to Wayne and his company. Vinny Boy

Do what Pig9r just said. It could be a little rich. If you get the Staintune pipes, the 20050_1 is the tune.

Vinny give the 20050Tune modified a try. It is the first one in the trading tunes section. It is basically a stock tune with secondaries open, speedo corrected, and ignition advanced.

Thanks for the suggestions. I have tried dougl's 20050DynoFinalMap TOR CatBypass Decel tune and it works well, but is a little rich according to the fuel consumption it gave me - but ran very well with almost no decel popping (I'm running cat bypass and one TOR on left side, 2 stock pipes on right). I'm now running the 20050DynoSteve tune and it is crisper, but has more popping - not sure about the gas mileage as I haven't run a full tank thru yet.. I'll try the the 20050Tune modified next and see what that's like.

This site is fabulous for learning. Thank you all. Vinny

Copy the L tables from my tune into the corresponding L tables in your DynoSteve tune. This should reduce the popping. Also, uncheck the O2 sensor box in Tuneboy and disconnect it from the ECU - under the triangular cover in front of the right painted side cover.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I think I'm getting the hang of this TuneBoy software - it's very flexible and easy to adjust. I'll try unchecking the 02 sensor and unplugging the sensor wiring with my next download, which won't be for a while - took the bike in for the famous Paint Can Rattle today, so expect it will be a few weeks getting parts.

Going to Italy tomorrow for the first time - back early October. Oh the suffering!!

Thanks again for all the insights - this is a great site. Vinny.
