I have noticed that Triumph is leaning away from Gore-tex in their jackets, pants, gloves, and boots in favour of a material called TriTech.
I trust Gore-tex. Simply put when worn properly it keeps you from getting soaked. The tests suggest that Gore-tex is good to 35000ml/m while the TriTech is only good for 10000ml/m.
Has anyone bought Triumph gear that has TriTech as its waterproofing membrane AND been in a real downpour? What were your results?
I ride in the rain. Hard driving (cars pulled over or in the ditch) rain and I trust Gore-tex. Not sure what to do if Triumph moves completely away gore-tex other than buy more Klim gear.
Thanks in advance,
