Since I have gotten involved with the guts of this bike , I have been hearing about using the Triple K&N air filter set up. I have checked every source I know of . The closest thing I can come to is the Triples for the 1050.
I would like to look in to it some more , but need some sources.
Thanks
Russ

Russ,
I recommend Flip of Flipmeisters fame.
He rides a rocket, makes and sells some amazing stuff,
and is a good ole boy I've personally met and rode with.
he has the best prices around for your filters and cable clamps too.

Only problem is that after finding them on Google , you can not bring up his web pages. tried two browsers.

Russ got to the net site and click on his add. Also why your there you should look at Hanso's thread bigger is better. He is using taller extreme top filters that Wayne Tripp tested and found to be better then the little ones. they have extreme tops and built in velocity stacks. Hans has some good pictures of his.

Flipp sells other stuff you will like also who knows maybe he can get you the tall K&N filters. Like I said look at the pictures Hans posted they are pretty choice looking.

Here is a more finshed look I like it onloy would probably add the 140 cubic in oil tank embelisher

anyone know if there is a decent size K&N type that fits under stock BC without any trimming or messing?

Bone the K&N numbers are RU-4040-1

Turbo the only filters that fit under the claw with out doing mods that I know of is the little filters everyone is using which give more power the the under the tank or seat style yet still rob a lot of flow verses the RU-4040-1 pictured above.
