you are married correct? how long? well you should be used to a sore ass (getting chewed out and such)as for a numb hand, not going there.I have a throttle meister throttle LOCK (not a cruise control) works good for me

I’ve toured on mine just fine. Sturgis, tail of the dragon, Canada. I just wish I had cruise. It’s more comfy than my Road Glide.

Just FYI -
Solved my sore ass on the OEM seat with this:
Beaded Motorcycle Seats - BeadRider - Beaded Motorcycle Seats
A year or so I went a Corbin solo - now even better!

As far as the right wrist, do some dumbbell wrist curls to strengthen your forearms.

I've found that making the motor fit your body is key to a comfy ride.
Over the years I have fussed greatly with my handlebar shape and position, my foot position, and my seat shape.
Takes effort and some expense, but well worth it.

Now I have to go through it all again with your wife's R3R.
