Any time on the weekend I'm a bit tetchy Amanda says "why don't you go for ride". She's even happy for me to ride somewhere and she'll drive with the kids to the same place. I had the Rocket when I met her and she just sees it as part of who I am.

Guess I'm just Lucky .. I just say I'm going for ride, tell her roughly what direction I am going and approx time I should be home, if there is a deviation (so she doesn't worry) to my plan I just let her know and All is good

Don't need excuses my wife's a diamond, I tell her I'm going she accepts it, dinner ready when I get back, as usual.
Train them right from the start, don't spoil them much then what little they do get they appreciate.

Going to get petrol and then a ride around the block. Up the highway to Batemans Bay, down the coast and along the river back to Moruya. About an hour, sometimes two.
