Just say the same has i've always said ,, SEE YA LATER , I'm going out ,,, that covers me for a ride , the pub , fishing , or just taking the dog to the beach , Although now i've got a bit older and better behaved , i generally do come home the same day , Did get in trouble a couple of years ago , when i said see ya later , at 7 am , and rang home at 9 pm , where are you , she asked , New South Wales , i answered ,, what you doing there she said ,, thought i'd ride to queensland for some warm weather i said .
GET THE FACK HOME ,,,,,NOW ,,, SHE SAID . ... just give it a day or two , and fly up , i'll pick you up at the airport i said ,, so she packed a bag , grabbed her helmit and flew up , 2 days later i met her at the airport , and we went on a 10 day tour round Queensland ,and i dropped her back at the airport and rode home the long way around the coast , that was her first , and definetly the best long trip we ever done on a bike ,
Thing is she never questioned me once , about why i had all my traveling gear with me in the first place .

Don't need excuses but the only restriction is "be back before the carers leave", wife severely disabled & cant be left alone, apart from that shes happy for me to be out on the bike.
