Tires

I found they start burn piles real good other then that they are as useful as a tnuc full of cold water
Working in the very dry areas of west Texas, I can assure you that truck loads of water are much more useful.

I enjoyed them on my Harley but they wear out fast. They were toast at 4000 miles front and rear. I have a 170 excedra max rear on the front right now and a 205 Yokohama Envigor V car tire on the rear right now. I DON'T recommend the CT as I develop a wobble over 90 mph.

Got a new Avon 240/16/50 put on today

Rode about 15 kms on it had a shower of rain ,at a stop light eased away in first gear gave it a bit in second and wheel spun quite good.

Gave me a good fright.

Anyone have anything they would like to share about their Metzlers?

I have 4800 on the Metz that came on the bike. I hate them. Front is cupping and I just don't like the way the bike feels on the road.

Plan on getting them changed at my next service. Probably do Bridgestones front and back although I will search for recommendations here. Do want to try a 140 on the front.

Hope this helps:

BTW - If you go with a 140/75R17 for the front (and you should) there are some additional options since I made this list:
Shinko 011 Verge Front Motorcycle Tire in 140/75R17 with a 67V load/speed rating.
