We are moveing back too Toronto when we moved to Utah didn't know its so high in drugs my younger daughter 16 she went from a easy straight A to f and d and so much problems in going to court.
We finally sold our house in Seattle and now we need to put this house up for sale its a good thing I finished the basment, wife is already there I have not seen her since Christmas
we like the states we plane to come back in about five years and hopefully both retire in Arizona But first need to get my youngest back in line my oldest is in the U and she really likes it so she will stay behind.
I only got to ride my beast like two times and have not done anymore to it
I wanted to do a customised seat but just never had any time to even look at it
So how many Rocket guys are in Toronto?

Sorry to hear the kiddo troubles, but it's everywhere in the states. My youngest just returned from rehab for his addictions; here in Maine home invasion is up, dirty rotten scoundrels thieving for drug money, even stealing catalytic converters from cars in the University parking lot. Hope you get her on the straight and narrow.

Hi Cane, I'm from just north of Toronto near Newmarket, and will be getting a new 2010 Rocket at the end of febuary.
Sorry to hear of your problems with your daughter and if you do move up to Toronto try and find a place north of the city, Barrie, Newmarket, Aurora are all great places to raise kids.
There lots of good riding roads.
Some areas of Toronto itself has bad spots too.If you still need to move to the city itself I can tell you what areas to avoid.
By the way, hope you can handle the cold , we are dropping down to -24 degrees C tonite.( thats minus 11F for you U.S folk)

Saboteur, sounds like your having more trouble them me, my kid is doing pot and drinking she did do some shop lifting over five hundred dollars don't know how she did that but thats why she most likely got cought. I love the States houses is so much less expensive and here in Utah we got our dream home but need to say good buy.
Macrider, I was born and raised in Toronto and have been gone for about six years we had a house in Ricnmond Hill so we are looking at houses in Richmond hill and New Market.
My wife is there know and I'm comming up in about two weeks to look at some houses and hope to pick one out.
That would be great when you get a Rocket we can hook up and go for some rides and Tim Hortans for a nice donut and coffee

With all due respect and sympathy for your situation, if your daughter is having drug, alcohol, and shop lifting problems you may need more than just a change of location. Problems like that tend to run a bit deeper than just the neighborhood.

Hopefully you can get her back on the straight and narrow. I know I wouldn't want to be a teenager these days. Best of luck.

Unfortunately he's right about kids finding trouble easily. The internet and cell phones keep them linked like never before, I sure hope it works out for you.

yea you would think you raise two or three kids the same and give them a good home to live in and a nice life they would turn out the same, my oldest is still keeping her A's and she is going to the U and has never got in trouble that I know of.
But my youngest she's has been in so much trouble had to bring her to the hospital too much to drink think we thought we had good insurance and still cost us $1500
Any were you go there is drugs but here in Utah we are finding out that drugs is big here and meth is huge here and some times the pot get lased with meth and the kids get hooked, so police tell me so before that that happens we are getting out of here.
I will not let her drive because she tells me kids on pot are better drivers and they got faster reflexes. I told her with her thinking that she will not be driveing and I will not buy her a car like we did for our other daughter but she just does not care.
I hope this gets old for her and I keep her safe as best I can even though she hate me more then her mom.
I feel for those who have worse problems then I'm having.
Now we are getting a ticket and I am bringing her to Toronto she said she is not going I'm so worried that she is going to take off and we will miss our flight could I hand cuff her to me that she has no choise or would I get in trouble?

Hi cane - I hope the change of scene works out for you. I'm down in the beach area of Toronto. Btw - I think the closest dealer for someone north of the city is GP bikes in Ajax unless you fancy a ride to Hamilton. Pretty good guys at gp though.

Hellfire, now that is funny those were good ones and thats why she will never drive as long as she is under my roof or she changes, I hope she changes first I want my little girl back and say she love me instead of saying she hates my guts
