I've have talked to her until I'm blue in my face about life but she just does not care about anything just how many friends she has and what she is going to do with them and sleep overs that I do not allow right now that just pisses her off but she can have friends here.
I am going to do what ever it takes to get her a egecation that all my dad did is make me work he took me out since I was six years old and I used to get home late all the time and fall to sleep in class all the time and even when I was old enough to drive still worked with my dad getting home 1- 2 in the mornning and still falling a sleep in school I got in so many accidents falling a sleep at the wheel its amazing I didn't kill any one or my self, and you know what my dad got me a busser that went on my ear so when I went to knod my head down it would buss and wake me up not cut down my hours.
I worked like a dog all the way untill my second kid and know my wife is making enough money I don't need to work thats kind of cool but I come in handy I remoldled our house from top to bottom in Seattle and sold it and now our house in Utah I re-did the basment that was alone 3 thousand sq feet and now that we need to sell we should do good, My spelling may not be great but its a lot better and I'm handy
I have came a long way, what my wife seen in me I just don't know, she was ingage at the time to marry a ingineer and she dumped him for me

Now if we get a house in Toronto and there is nothing to do I just might decide to make custom seats for mortorcycles I like to keep busy.

update

just wanted to let you guys know that I did get my daughter on the plane and to Toronto She is hanging out with some nicer people and the parents seem to be more respectable but she is still doing pot asked her if she put a sign on her back
But the good new these people is straight A studends and she is going to all her clases and studying and she says she will get back to A's soon, still has a mouth on her though
I was down there for three weeks bought a house still in shock how much more we had to pay to end up in the same area that we were its gone crazy.
I told my wife that I'm going to feel poor again and that I'm going to need to go back to work
But back in UTah trying to get this house sold hope it doesn't take as long as my house in Seattle it took a year to sell.

A River Runs Through It

My word, I feel for you man. As was said earlier in this thread...it is tough for kids these days. The incredible temptations and the omnipresent networking...some of it certainly leads to grim places. My daughter practically raised herself, luckily, and I never had any problems with her at all. Now she is a very successful businesswoman along with her equally outstanding husband. Discipline and focus they always had. My sons are still works in progress. My eldest is a "nerd", of sorts, and conversant in topics and technology I can scarcely understand. He has a fascinating and fecund mind. My youngest is the "jock". Handsome, muscled, dynamic and sociable. Both have good hearts and broad outlooks. Neither are currently tempted by the "Dark Side", as it were. I hope it stays that way. I'm grateful none of these guys shows much resemblance to my errant youth! I never thought I'd live beyond 30 and I lived accordingly. Times have changed profoundly.

I suppose I've inculcated a sense of the need for honor and strength in them all as well as a respect for the family name and our place/standing in the greater community. We are all highly "visible" these days.

I wish you well, my friend, and hope your daughter can find her way in the end through life's many, sometimes daunting, currents.

Thanks you guys I am back in Utah and she is with her mom in Toronto I had her for two months and now she has her for two months before I go back, I'm looking at this as a break for both of us .
