There goes the Exhaust upgrade...........

39+ years and lovin' almost every moment for me!
Don't spoil 'em too much - they'll grow to expect it.
Works both ways, same as when you were courting.

Spent a small f#ckin fortune on my ex , didn't do me one bit of good .. after 22 years and it was all over.

Me I'd have watched the fireworks from Kangaroo Point .. then got the exhaust come January .

But I'm a lot older , a bit jaded .. or maybe just a tad wiser than I was the first time round

Mate i hate large crowds and i'd be fantasizing how i could throw them all in the river

Probably doing the right thing. Not that I disagree one bit about the wisdom of keeping the better half happy, but sometimes spending a grand on a romantic moment can bite you. For them it's not about the money; it's about being thoughtful as much as it is about being romantic. I did something similar that I though would be a winner once only to be told it was a waste of money. Backfired big time. It does sound like you have a pretty cool night planned though and I hope it works out for you both.

Am I the only man on here, every year my wife goes back to Los Angeles and spends any where from six weeks to three months with her parents, now when she is gone and I need to buy ant thing for some strange reason her phone does not work I swear to her that I tried calling but for some reason she does not believe me
Few items I have purchased because I could not get her on the phone
20x24 shed for my bike stuff
5 bikes-----over the years
I do tell her that they have a no return policy.
Now this year I did buy her a new washer and dryer, the shock will probably kill her.(she is due home the beginning of the year)
