ok i could not remove the old key switch no matter what i did but i had ordered the digi guard dawg keyless system and installed it today so i left the key switch where it was so i still have a wheel lock and i parreled the guard dawg into the system and it works great and if the dawg system fails for any reason i can still use the key for starting the bike. i also installed the triple k&n's and the air temp filtet and crank case filter. i am not a bike mechanic but so far so good. thanks for all your help guys and i am sending the sw. relocator system back to rivco.

How difficult was the digital guard dog to install and parallel it to the original ignition?

ok the price of the unit was 399.00 and i got it direct from the unit mfg. but if you look around you might find it cheaper.

DIGI GUARD DAWG INSTALL

SRY i forgot to answer the question about the install once you get the color code for the triumph rocket and the diagram from guard dawg it was fairly simply. you do have to raise the tank and find the wiring harness for the key switch and the stop run button but once you find that it is a breeze i did have to make one call to them to go over the install but bruce was great with the tech service and being a retired electrican of 35 yrs of coarse i did not understand it lol. well it works great and the range is adjustable so now i can walk up to the bike and sit on it but nothing comes on unless you turn the run sw on than all works as if the key is turned on. this is triumph's color code
B=BLACK
U=BLUE
N=BROWN
G=GREEN

O=ORANGE

R=RED
P=PURPLE
W=WHITE
