Suggestions for rear darkside

I'm on my 2nd "Dark Side" tire. The first was a 245 50 16 that had such a stiff sidewall, it made the ride pretty harsh. But I did get over 20,000 miles from it. Now this time I'm running a 225 60 16 which I like the ride much better. I expect it to go 20,000 miles as well. It's got 5000 miles so far and still looks almost new.

I need to ask how difficult it was to get the old tire off the rim? I'm switching from a 235/60R16 to a 215/60R16 and I'm having a h*ll of a time getting the 235 off. It has plenty of tread and want to use it on my old pickup for a spare. If it was worn out I would cut it off.
