I finally got around to installing my Starcom1 Advance and Zumo550. Was suppose to do it on the Xmas break but my house decided to fall apart, that's another story.

I used spiralwrap to keep the bundle together. You could spot wrap it with tape also.

I tape wrapped the mic amp and filter(?) that go from the Zumo mount to the Starcom box to keep weather proof. Starcom could of placed them a little closer to the jacks in my opinion. They end up in a bad spot at the front forks.

This is where the cable does alot of flexing when turning. :?

I ran the bundle down the right side along with the main wire harness.

I brought the bundle down to where the ECM is and ran it across to the left side under the fuel tank hinge.

This is where it came out the other side.

I ty-wrapped the Starcom to the open relay mounts and dressed the extra length in. Yeah, I could of done a better job.

For power I used an inline splice that came with the Starcom unit and tapped into the head light wire (blue/yellow) at fuse #9. I will only be powered on when the bike is on.

Hopefully in that spot the Starcom will not get too wet. I did leave all the wires at their original length so if I do have to move it no problem.
