Some pretty cool Police Officers

Not the smokies, its the Talamina drive that runs from Texas to Missouri via Arkansas and Oklahoma, i did a small portion of it, been thinking about putting a ride together for 2017 in this part of the world, the Kiamichi mountains ate lovely!
Really neat to run during the fall. Weather is nice and the scenery is great.

Indeed a refreshing "police experience". I'm still dealing with the effects of a former deputy sheriff neighbor passive aggressively informing my landlord of my suspected use of Cannabis. That's the last time I lend a $250 cordless impact/drill to a cop needing tools for a tire rotation on his mini-van. :cautious:

I have ridden Talimena Scenic Highway . . . twice in the past several years.
I meant to say the Ozarks! My error. I love riding both the Great Smoky Mts. and Ozark Mts..
I think youse should consider SoCal for an event.

Isn't that deformation of character . Surely he is way overstepping the mark casting dispersions on your character ? Especially if it wasn't proven . I would be writing a stern letter !

What's a "stern letter" going to do? My landlord wants me out despite my having a doctor's prescription. Like I said; "passive aggressive".

It's the very reason cops are distrusted as much as they are in America. If they can't jack you directly they'll find a way "passive-aggressively". I fully understand why Blacks hate and distrust the police as they do. I needed to call for an officer to my home about ten years ago. Instead of easily/quickly ameliorating the problem I called about, the cop conspicuously took nearly an hour trying to find a reason to jack ME.
They have devolved into a goon-squad of fully militarized pathological bullies, and some ARE certifiable homicidal sociopaths using their badge as immunity.

I was raised 'white' middle-class with a criminal defense attorney as a father. Respect for law and the police was a sacrament in my Republican upbringing. But so too was 'critical thought' along with more than a layman's understanding of common law. What the police have degenerated into over my sixty years is truly frightening:eek:, as well as sad.:(

Maybe, just like the majority of the Blacks (or anyone of any color) that you are obviously referring to (BLM, most likely) YOU are doing something to cause these officers to "jack you"...... which is a typical term used by dishonorable blacks - NOT to be confused with honorable blacks. to which there are many :whitstling:
My Grandfather was a Tyler PD for 37 years, my father a State Trooper and Tyler PD.
You sir, can GFY

Coming home this morning from work got pulled over in Glenpool Oklahoma. I was a bit upset about the fact but figured at 2:00 am in the morning go figure. Well the Police officer come up and asked me how I was doing and my response was "just getting off work" He chuckled over my comment and informed me that I was not in trouble he just wanted me to know that my tail light was out. We decided to run with it and would use the turn signal if a vehicle approached from the rear. He followed me all the way out to the Wal-Mart and I thought that was pretty **** cool of him to help me out like that. Hats off to the GLenpool Police Department. Replaced bulb and rode home.:):):):):):):)

Pretty cool..

Perhaps you overlooked the timeline inferred?
Your grandfather as well as your father mostly pre-date the "degeneration" of which I speak. Your progenitors and your quick pre-judgement of me as "one of them" is the very reason a defense attorney would exclude you in a jury selection.
