side mounted light and license plate

Has anyone done this and chopped their mudguard , can you recommend a good quality one , and is there photos , help

Ive done it to mine. The rear mudguard/fender was a GRP one from Catbypass Dave but I have had an identical one from a stock metal part but cut down, and ive also had a standard mudguard/fender "reduced" down - ie the stock mudguard chopped down and stocktail light moved up.
