Seat Pad

Forgot who, but I talked to someone in Maggie Valley about their seat pad. Suffering from CRS and can not remember who

Anyhow, what is your favorite seat pad? So far I really like the long haul seat, but still looking for more comfort on long trips. Especially something that helps keep the bottom cooler.

I've been using one of these. I can ride all day and not suffer from "Numb Butt". Even had my seat re-worked at Mean City Cycles.

Airhawks are a very personal thing - I cant stand them on a bike. But I use them in the 4WD. They do not resist you rolling about. The family jewels will breath though.

I'm using a double layer of two different gel pads (hard and soft) inset onto the seat. A Chamois leather tied over the vinyl cover.

Beaded covers - fine if you ride in good leather seated jeans - otherwise you get a bum like a golf ball.

I think it may have been me. I was using an Airhwawk 2 Medium Cruiser style. On the trip up we were on the road 18 hrs and my butt didn't suffer...my back, arms, knees and everything else was in agony, but my butt was fine.

Vangaurd also I know you know some pilots I made mine out of aircraft memory fome 3 layers it works good for me and I shaped it to the seat and me then put a cover over it

Thanks for the feed back. Yes, Fred has the beads. I remember Watchers set up. I may look into the Airhawks. Trying to stop the nut discomfort
