I'm 5'8" and the bike isn't too tall with stock shocks, it just feels so much more comfortable when lowered just a bit like it is now. I keep mine in gear also until I see a couple of vehicles stop behind me at a light and then I sometimes kick it into neutral and relax if I'm in familiar territory where the lights take awhile to change. If I'm on a trip, I try to stay ready for anything. I just figured if anyone had ever considered lowering, this would be a free, easy trial to see if that's really what they

hey brother did you ever sell the brackets? i am 5'6", did ok with the stock seat but added a corbin and it blew my footing. i had to take the seat to a local upholsterer to have foam cut out, but it's still a bit high. if you dont still have the brackets, can you direct me?
