RPM TOO LOW AND DYING WHEN LETTING OFF THE GAS

@warp9.9 do you think this might be in the tune. Or possibly the vacuum lines. We replaced the vacuum lines about 3 years ago with regular hose not silicone.
Paul, is there any difference between the silicone lines and regular lines?, i would think they just let air pass by, but i don't know:)

@warp9.9 could this be the TPS
Has it ever been changed and if so when? Also one could run a ISCV CHECK/RESET and see if it need adjusting and then see if it maintains a steady voltage at idle or is it acting erratic voltage wise . Its a rehostat if it wears in the closed throttle position it could give it a wrong voltage spike retracting the stepper motor. Just thinking out loud to help the smart ones like rob who probably undstands it better then myself. I would also be curious on the idle I tend to run mine 920 to 950 on any cell that was lower. (Because of better oil pressure.) Anyway but a reflash of the tune with a reset adaptations couldn't hurt. Especially if it needs a idle adjustment on the map. As for the vac lines what does the numbers in tune ecu say?

Have not had my computer hooked up to this bike for about 3years. The bike if I remember was idling a little low when we tuned it. I reset adaptations when I did the tune back then. The TPS looked okay then to.

when it is lean they will pop back.
when they pop back it creates pressure in the intake and that pressure can blow off a vacuum hose or a rubber cap.
i have bought hoses that lasted for years and some that did not last for six months. i am still running my original hoses.
because of the rains here we have 6 inches of sand on our dirt road mine is set at 850 and i just walk it through at 500 rpm but i forgot about the oil pressure:banghead:
anyway mine pulls like a champ at 500

Ya im not say below 900 is bad. Just I had the fortunate opportunity to iwn one that actually had a oil pressure gauge. And I just didn't like the extremly (ford 300-6 cyl. type) oil pressure. So I bumped it up. I think the factory raised it from 750 to 850 over the years. Back in the days of no tune ecu and tune boy was new there was no ecu access for idle rpm control not even the first tune boy.

Silicon will last a lot longer. You bought your lines at auto zone I think not sure of the quality of the lines. If I remember correctly you had a idle of 950 when I put the tune on the bike. I rode the bike and it ran good after we fixed the timing. I think that was about 2 years ago. I think @EasTexRIII Clint cleaned his TPS when he had a problem and it fixed whatever his problem was. Let's see if he will chime in.

My problem was not low idle, it was intermittent high idle. I cleaned stepper motor linkage & lubed, reset ISCV & TPS & that worked for a few weeks but I eventually had to replace primary TPS

I doubt is the lines, i am more inclined to think that the tps or stepper motor are acting up
