If you are running Windows 7 it will auto load a driver and the cable should work.
Make sure you have the latest version of TuneECU and no Virus/Malware onya PC..

Yea I tried downloading the driver but the vw software loaded a driver for it so I don't know how to tell the cable to use the Ross tech driver with the vw software and the ftdi software with tuneecu

Ok the first thing you need to do if you don't own a vw is to remove the drivers if you have a vw I suggest you buy a little 10 inch laptop which are cheap as chips and use for the bike, I don't own a vw but I bought a 10 inch laptop for its convience ( I take It everywhere I GO)you are not supposed to use the software that came with the cable this has been mentioned in almost every thread since Alian and Tom made it possible to have TuneECU. A Major BIG THANKYOU TO THEM BOTH
