Begging your pardon, but that would kinda depend on where they're riding to. Mid-summer in THESE parts (KS-MO) is not necessarily ideal riding weather. Though it *can* be pleasant, you run a very high risk of weather that's horrendously hot and unstable too. This year the majority of mid-summer days were in the ballpark of 100 if not over--hotter than average summer yes, but we always have a lot of very hot mid-summer days!
Early fall is "generally speaking" some of our best and most stable riding weather, IF the term "stable" can ever be applied to a state where I've been in glorious sunshine and a tornadic storm within the same hour...and that was MO--in KS it's more like 20 min.
