I dont know......I think it would be kinda nice to show some Rockets at the HD riders that take over the place on rally weekend
What gets me is all the businesses have there signs say "Welcome Harley Riders"......gripes my ass

The cherokee rally did not move their dates so there is only one rally going on in maggie. Poor planning on the rally promoter part. We are still good I just wanted to let everyone know so there were no suprises. and we are down to 2 rooms

I just found out the thunder in the smokies bike rally that was scheduled for the weekend of the 29th has just been moved to the weekend of the 13th .... the rally will be directly across the street from motel.

This will cause several challenges

1) the area will be very busy because of the rally (Lots Of traffic)

2) Any additional Room reservations above the ones already blocked will be at premium Rate. (We have 2 rooms Left in the block across the street)

3) restaurants and Businesses will be very busy.

The question to the group is do we stay with the dates we have scheduled or attempt to move the event to another weekend. This will have to be a unanimous decision.

Let's stick w/ what we've got since so many people have already made plans. Like Wendy said, once we're outta Cherokee and Maggie Valley areas, traffic won't be too bad. And, if we get most of our meals at the Holiday, then we won't have to worry about the resturants being over crowded.
