I've seen two in Phoenix, AZ over the last few years. Both have been classics with silver motors. Can't remember what year they changed over to black. 2008? I've been to the one Triumph dealer in the area and I see a different new rocket in there every few months. So they are either selling a few a year, trading them to other dealers, or a bit of both. I was anxiously awaiting any information on the Rocket when it was announced in 2004. I could likely name every production bike on the market for a couple years either side of 2004. It wasn't until I had gotten sport bikes out of my system that I bought the 2010 Roadster. This is my second Triumph. First was my last bike, a 98 Daytona T595 (955cc). Sold it to a buddy and we ride together occasionally.

There is at least one in my area on the site. And possibly the same guy posted an R3 windshield on craigslist not too long ago.

I get compliments and looks all the time. I ride near daily. Some of the looks are likely due to me doing 1st gear roll-on burnouts in traffic when I get annoyed after not being able to pass someone for an extended period of time.

heading down the freeway a couple of weeks ago, really hot day saw a "05" parked under a over bridge near Beenleigh (south Brisbane) ............. with him & her standing beside it, I did a loop back and pulled up, asked if they were ok...... turns out they were parked up just waiting for a mate.
With all the traffic going past they said I was the only one that stopped....... that was my good deed for the day

Sure they will remember and pass it forward. Good dead a day...Makes the world a better place.

I only recall seeing one other rocket on the road. Maybe six months prior to buying mine I spotted one parked at the peak of Route 9, across from the restaurant, near Berkley Springs WV. It must have been the final sign for me to get one. I have not seen one since I bought mine.

My neighborhood has my 06 classic, across the street an 01 955RS, around the block an 04 standard and a couple houses down the 1050 tiger. I see a few thruxtons around and the other day some lucky bastard rode by on the speed triple SE. That was gonna be my lottery bike.

A skunk model Roadster with Wilber's suspension on the back passed me on the southeast freeway on Friday. Usually see at least 1 Rocket a day out and about.

Canungra was pretty popular this morning ,even three rocket s there ,said getay to moto link and caught up with Shane or the panther from the pack rats . Really nice day ridin up in the mountains ,always seems to be a little cooler

2 rockets passed me on the way into Warwick on Friday. Wasn't difficult as I was driving a steel drum roller, 12kph flat out!

I know there's a few around Canberra but I hardly ever see them on the road. Not counting "visitors" such as Peter K, Malcy, Hanso, Ruzzle and Ozrider or local members The Kiwi and SteveX, don't see many pop in at Joe's either - maybe 4 or 5. I like it that way.
