Mate that looks fantastic and I bet it sounds the same. Why? don't Triumph do this with the exhaust in the first place.

Funny thing is the stock Triumph headers ( without the chrome heat shields/ covers) just the headers are actually dearer than these. Triumph Australia quoted me $1,700 for stock headers.

Bet they're a big seller.
When we were assessing the damage to Amanda's America the cost of replacing her brand new TOR pipes was about $500 less than it would have cost to replace the stock pipes. In the end it was written off so it didn't make any difference.

Anyone in Brisbane with a Standard prepared to take your bike in to Trev to see if the headers will fit, especially behind the brake master cylinder?

I went for a bit of a ride yesterday, it was 29c here around town at 60 kph I could feel the heat from the pipes on my leg. I could always feel the heat with the old pipes too but These are a little bit warmer. Once you get moving the grin and the noise overcomes any thinking of heat. As for noise, the induction noise from the Ramair is louder than the exhaust noise when the throttle bodies are wide open. No chirping or cheaping just a sort of slapping roar if that makes sense. I don't know if I like it or not, but I'll live with it. Les has offered a loan of an Ozclaw to try. I will give it a go as I like the look of it anyway and more cool air in the air filter can't hurt. If it silences the induction noise a bit well that will be a bonus. Well enough of this Les and I are going for a ride up the coast.
