Yes peter that is actually my basement. I always wondered why I put french doors down there, and love the fact that I can drive the bike in during the winterto work on her is a nice heated environment. WIth any luck Gracie will be the next thing in there gett pepped up a bit.

It will lift about 6" and the rear wheel can slip out easy, just getting it back in may present its own problems, but a wedge of wood may work wonders. It pulls the bike to upright from the sidestand with no real effort on the handle.
As for going public....bearing in mind it is heavy and the handle is 4ft long, let alone the day to make it, don't mind anyone copying the design and would happily supply measurements.
Anyone who is handy with an angle grinder and a welder will have no problems as it is very basic......just very heavy.

Someone is already making one similar to that in australia.The dealer here sells them for about $180. Its always going to be heavy if its going to be trustworthy. Unless someone could knock one up in alloy
