Roadster Front Tire Wear

Guessing once a new tire is on it removes some of the skittishness, for lack a better word, from the front end?

I liked the Avon Cobra but Love the Dunlop Elite 3 (just put my third on) much better feel and feed back and I got better mileage as well.
as for Sh!t Metzlers!!! ........ they should never have been an OEM tyre as they do the bike a disservice

WELL thats why you must keep the proper pressure in the tires all tires leak down so ckeck them every couple of days not once a month running low pressure will cause tire wear ruin handling and cause a loss of horsepower

33 is 1 less PSI than triumph recommends, at 33 I refill it to 38, do you see how your argument is invalid? How do I always know it's at 33? It starts to wiggle when cornering, so I go fill it.

Metzlers are garbage, always have been, always will be.

I had the same on mine, like everyone's saying run a different tyre. I'm running the Avon Cobra as was suggested by the good folk on this site....

BULL SHOOT keep the tire pressure up and you wont have a problem

That Elite 3 is a very good tire.
Ran them on my V2K for years.
But, you must have been running a bias ply? No?

Michelin commander II are about the best tire I have ever run on a bike. Prefer the commanders over the Elite 3. Not saying the Elite three is a bad tire. Run Michelin's on the Harley and it works out rather well. Better traction and longer lasting tire. Handles really good on wet pavement. Harley caught on to this and is now offering some of there modals with Michelin's vice Dunlap. I wonder if filling the metz. with lemon pledge vice air would improve the performance of the tire?//

If Michelin made a 240/16 I'd switch instantly without question. They are, in my experience, hands down the best tire manufacturer for cycles.
