Replacing toe peg on shifter

I have seen a cover for the peg for guys that dont want to mark up their loafers. Check the inner web I am sure you will find one.

It's just the rubber seems really cheap on the OEM and I guess I was looking for solid metal maybe a little longer I'll just look around, Maybe I'll find something on fleabay or somewhere thanks for the info

Yeah, that's the best answer yet.......I gave up toe shifting, from underneath, years ago.

PS Lived down the road from you in Boulder for about 23 years before moving on in 1980.

If you lube it you will be able to slide it off. Maybe you can get a smooth one to put on it. Or wrap it in brown leather to match your booties

Anti Scuff Shifter Peg Harley Davidson Non Marking Ribbed or Smooth | eBay we shall see if these really are anti scuff, send a message to the seller ask if they were 5/16-24 or 8mm either will work we shall see.
