Refitting OEM muffler issue.

Hey guys, if anyone needs to refit OEM muff, here is the scoop.
Place sleeeve/ring on the muffler facing towards the FRONT of the bike. (not the rear as first told)
Place new gasket also on the muffler in front of sleeve/ring.
Place clamp (opened all the way) on headpipe
Install OEM muff lining up 2 bolts either side first making sure its in the headpipe.
Once in the headpipe, use 3rd bolt to secure muff.
Use lift/jack to gently lift the right hand twin cans just enough to further insert muff.
Now push both sleeve and gasket until it hits headpipe.
Make sure clamp channel covers the sleeve/ring and headpipe.
Tighten.
Release jack from rear cans and start.
Finally, dont be an idiot like me and remove OEM cans just to clean bike.
It ain't f....n worth the trouble.
Thanks to all for replies and views.

He also said “muff” in his last post. Mentioning it for no particular reason.

Good job! Did you get an assist from someone, or finally figure it out? 🤔

Well I spent ages trying to get the sleeve/ring to fit in the clamp how I was suggested. Turns out that's physically impossible. Once I flipped it over, everything fell into place.
I got lucky though since no one had any reference to go on.
I'll say this though, I'm never taking the muffler off again!!!
